Second day of wuhsu beijing trip:

Woke up early in the morning to have breakfast together and started training at 9am. With the indescribable pain from our muscles. But everyone persisted and persevered through the training. At 3.30pm, we had the second session and as such, with greater pain this time round. Bearing the pain we hold within ourselves to continue the training. Every session’s duration is 2 hours.

After training we had our dinner and went out to wang fu jing to shop. A place that is similar to singapore’s orchard road. Walked pass a street with stalls that sell all kinds of food that Singapore does not sell. I tried “chou dou fu”, “snake meat”, “bubble tea with dry ice”. I also died because of the bubble tea. I thought it was cool when I see them selling bubble tea with real bubbles on top of the drinks. So I bought one to try. I saw my friends when I drank it half way. I showed it to them and they said the drink contains dry ice.

I panic and I thought I will be poison but luckily I didn’t. My friends tried centipede and scorpion meat. It was really gross just by looking at him putting it into his mouth. But it was a great experience since Singapore does not sell that. At about 10.30pm we gathered back at the meeting point and took bus back to hotel.

Decided to get some drinks as the weather was cold. Some suggested to go to starbucks but in the end some decided to have some alcohol at the pub instead. Strolled along the pub street and finally decided to go into one of the good one. We came across a lady who wanted to bring us to the pub but we ddint because it was too deep down the street. Had a lot of fun and our teacher treated us. It costs us about 900 plus china dollars. But it was really fun to sit in and see how others perform.

Ended up quite drunk when going back to hotel. Had a hard time walking straight. Some even got too high and all of them couldn’t wake up on time the next day. Went to sleep right away when I got back to hotel.
